By Moon Prism Power!!!!!

Since I was little I’ve always watched cartoons. Some of them were Disney’s cartoons and the other was Japanese animation. Back then I wasn’t even known what the word “anime” means, and less what was its deeply meaning about life experiences.

Now that I am a grown up, I do know some of the meaning of the Japanese cartoons, and I still love them like the first day. I’m something like an adult but with the heart of a child… because I love to watch cartoons.

I remembered that I started to watch, as my first anime, “Sailor Moon”. I love it! And I like the idea of being a super heroine who lived a double life, and had friends who were too and a very cute boyfriend and everything.

Then I watched Dragon Ball Z, despite the people say about it. I don’t care if they were violent animation, because I wasn’t. And that cartoon never influenced me to be violent. Inuyasha was other of my favorites because it helped that me and my brother to get closer.

Not long ago I started to watch Candy with my seven year old cousin. To show her some of my favorites cartoons ever and she liked it, a lot. Now every time she visit my house, she ask me to watch Candy.

UFFFF!!! There are so many Japanese cartoons I watched when I was a child, but regrettably I can’t remember all of their names. But If there’s one thing very good about anime, is that it always be a terrific conversation topic among my group of friends.

Well I think that’s all for now, go watch some anime and enjoy it…

See ya!!!

An Inconvenient Truth

I’ve never really been a pro environment person. I’m sorry to say that I care but not in an activist way. I mean I do take care of my environment but regrettably I’ve never joined on NGOs, but I like to join one or support one at least.

About the habit of recycling I’ve never had it in my life, but I do realize that I can help doing some little thing like not throwing garbage on the street or producing the minimal rate of disposals in my house or control the electricity consumption.

It may looks like I am an alienated person who doesn’t care about anything but me… but I do some thing to help clean the environment, like using the public transportation to mobilize myself instead a private car, and if the distance is small I rather walk to my destination.

I think that our society, the Chilean one (and almost half world, even more) have so much to learn about how taking care of our planet. Almost no one knows that the garbage must not be contaminating the water, the forests, and the streets. Many business men do anything to pursue their ambition without thinking about the flora and the fauna may be harm with it.  Some of this people don’t think that one day it might be too late to make a change and save the environment.

If you don’t want to be a person like me and want to do something for the environment and turn your words into actions, you can read this link and learn anything you want to know about how to be like Capitan Planeta.

That’s all for now folks!! See ya!!

Wouldn't it be nice???

A few days ago I watched the movie “Hairspray” where the main characters performed a very funny and catchy song where they say something like “Mama welcome to the sixties. Hey mama, hey mama, have some fun”. That chorus makes me think that I already know something about the sixties, because I like some music from that period and I realize that it really was a fun age…

One of my favorite bands from the 60’s is Fleetwood Mac, because I love the way that Stevie Nicks sings. My favorite track is “Go your own Way”. But I haven't always known them as a band. The first time I ever listen to them, was when I was watching Glee. After that, I always carry some of their tracks on my mp4. If you asked me why I like music that I shouldn’t even know, that’s an easy answer… Because I think that the nowadays music sucks!! Especially the reggaetón… it makes me sick!! So I’d rather go for the classics… you know… like Whitesnake, Black Sabbath and Queen among others. But if I have to choose, I rather listen to music from the late 70’s or early 80’s. Bands such as The Bee Gees or Judas Priest.

Regrettably this kind of music doesn’t make a strong connection between me and my parents, because they like another kind of music. But it maybe makes a connection between me and my grandparent, because he really likes bands like the Bee Gees.

Sometimes I think I would like to be born on the time where my favorite bands were on their peak. So I could go to every concert. Lucky for me, I could go to a Whitesnake and Judas Priest concert last year on Movistar Arena... Now I can rest in peace xD!!!

Well I think that’s all folks… See ya!!

Who is lying???

+

According to the instructions of our teacher, I have to choose an article from The Guardian and make a summary of it… well here it is!!

“Met police are warned against ‘cosy relationships’ with press” that’s the headline on today’s online version of the British Newspaper, The Guardian.

Basically, there are some speculations about the relationship between senior police officers and News of the World journalists.

A report by a former parliamentary commissioner, Elizabeth Filkin, informs that there is a too close relationship between both sides, and that can compromise the ability to investigate each other (The Metropolitan Police Department and the journalists).

The biggest problem is that there is an excessive hospitality among those groups that can drive them into some serious offences against the law. There is an example of this, when they mentioned a phone hacking of Milly Dowler voicemail (a little girl who was kidnapped and killed at the age of thirteen). They say that journalists who works in the NEws of the World, deleted some messages that might have been potential evidence on her case.

Filkin insist that the relationship between the metropolitan police and the News of the World journalists it’s lack of transparency, because they would have some understanding to infringe the law and get away with it.

On the other hand, the Chief Police Officer, Adrian Lee, says that a closer relationship with that crew of journalists it’s the perfect way to investigate them exhaustively.

Well… I think that this article will be developed on the next few days… so we just have to wait for the resolution…

So that’s all until then… See ya!!!
